Work on the new site for the Alexandre Yersin French school was kicked off on 5th September 2016, prior to the visit of the French President Français Hollande to Vietnam.

The school, located on a 3ha-site in Ngoc Thuy ward, Long Bien District, will replace the current site in Nui Truc Street in Hanoi’s Ba Dinh District . Once operation, the new Alexandre Yersin School in Long Bien District would be able to accommodate 1,200 students per year.
