Work on the new site for the Alexandre Yersin French school was kicked off on 5th September 2016 , prior to the visit of French President Francais Hollande to Vietnam.

The school, located on a 3ha-site in Ngoc Thuy ward, Long Bien District, will replace the current site in Nui Truc Street in Hanoi’s Ba Dinh District . Once operation, the new Alexandre Yersin School in Long Bien District would be able to accommodate 1,200 students per year.
